Advanced Interactivity using LiveStage Professional |
Creativity need not stop with a QTVR file. By combining QTVR with other media you can produce enhanced Quicktime content. Using a ‘wired’ Quicktime authoring application such as VR Hotwires or LiveStage Professional, Quicktime VR movies can be combined with Flash, for example, to create animated interactive features. Most people think of QuickTime as a video format. However, it supports over 200 different file types. That's a lot! Considering that Quicktime movies contain fourteen tracks, and four of these tracks are scriptable - Sprite, Text, VR, and, of course, Flash – there’s a lot of potential there! If you are not familiar with Flash, tutorials on its use can be found in the Flash section of these guides. We’ll be covering its potential to ‘speak’ with Quicktime QTVR here. |
